Nghe An has 21 examination centers with no candidates taking the Natural Sciences subject combination.
(Baonghean.vn) - This is completely different from previous years when the advantage in the exam subjects usually leaned towards natural sciences such as Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.
According to statistics from the Department of Education and Training, out of 60 examination centers in examination cluster number 28, 21 centers had no candidates taking the Physics, Chemistry, and Biology subject combination.
These are the exam locations at the following schools: Anh Son 2 High School, Dien Chau 4 High School, Dien Chau 5 High School, Do Luong 4 High School, Dong Hieu High School, Le Loi High School (Tan Ky), Nam Dan 2 High School, Nam Yen Thanh High School, Nghi Loc 3 High School, Nghi Loc 4 High School, Nghi Loc 5 High School, Nguyen Canh Chan High School, Nguyen Duc Mau High School, Nguyen Sy Sach High School, Nguyen Truong To High School, Pham Hong Thai High School, Quy Hop 2 High School, Quynh Luu 2 High School, Tan Ky 3 High School, Tay Hieu High School, Yen Thanh 2 High School.

Previously, according to the list of registered candidates from the application receiving units, Nghe An province had 31,578 registered candidates. Besides the three compulsory subjects of Mathematics, Literature, and Foreign Language, which accounted for nearly 100% of the registrations, this year, the number of candidates registering for the Social Sciences subject group was almost double that of the Natural Sciences subject group.
Specifically, in the Natural Sciences subject group, the number of students registering to take the Physics exam is 11,096, Chemistry is 11,320, and Biology is 10,974.
In the Social Sciences subject group, 21,392 students took History, 21,101 students took Geography, and 19,684 students took Civic Education.

This difference began when the Ministry of Education and Training decided to switch the exam format from essay-based to multiple-choice for social science subjects. Therefore, many candidates believe that taking exams in the social science subject combination such as History - Geography - Civic Education will likely result in higher scores and make it easier to avoid failing grades.
According to statistics from the Department of Education and Training, for the Foreign Language subject, the entire province has 4 candidates registered to take the Russian exam and 24 candidates taking the French exam, all assigned to the exam site at Huynh Thuc Khang High School. In addition, there are 2 candidates taking the Japanese exam at the exam sites of Thanh Chuong 1 High School and Thanh Chuong 3 High School.
Although they are a small number, the Department of Education and Training has arranged and allocated examination venues and rooms to ensure that these students can take the exam conveniently, comfortably, and normally like other candidates.
Over 31,500 candidates in Nghe An province completed the procedures to participate in the national high school graduation exam.
