Nghe An province has nearly 1,700 youth economic development models.
(Baonghean.vn) - Lessons learned, concerns, and anxieties of young people in the process of starting businesses and developing the economy were shared at the meeting of the Youth Economic Development Club, Youth Cooperatives, and Youth Cooperative Groups in 2020, organized by the Provincial Youth Union on the afternoon of July 16th.

According to survey data on youth economic development in the locality as of June 2020, the entire province has 20 district-level youth economic development clubs, 176 commune-level clubs with over 2,640 members, 13 youth cooperative models with 230 members, 57 cooperative groups with 422 members, and 1,696 youth economic development models.
Most youth economic development models are primarily in the agricultural sector, such as: farm development, livestock breeding, VAC (gardening, animal husbandry, and aquaculture), and fruit tree cultivation; some models are in the industrial and handicraft sectors; and goods and services…

Over the past period, the province has issued and implemented many policies to support young people in economic development; the Provincial Youth Union and the Provincial Federation of Youth Associations have implemented many solutions to support young people in starting and developing businesses, such as: Organizing the Youth Entrepreneurship Program; Commending outstanding young people in production and business annually; Organizing competitions such as "Creative Rural Entrepreneurship Ideas", "Youth Entrepreneurship Project Ideas", etc.
In particular, a team of young intellectual volunteers was established to transfer agricultural science and technology to young people; coordination with the Social Policy Bank resulted in entrusted loans with a total outstanding balance of 1,408 billion VND; the Youth Support Fund disbursed nearly 1.9 billion VND for 32 loan projects…

At the conference, delegates heard from representatives of businesses, companies, and production facilities owned by young people about their experiences in starting businesses; sharing difficulties and obstacles in the process of establishing and operating youth economic development clubs, cooperatives, and cooperative groups; issues related to policies supporting youth economic development, legal procedures related to business registration, establishment of cooperatives and cooperative groups, etc.; and solutions to connect, gather, and support members in youth economic development clubs and cooperatives, and innovative entrepreneurship among young people.
Representatives from relevant departments and agencies directly discussed the suggestions and questions raised by representatives of cooperatives, clubs, and cooperative groups regarding access to loan capital; administrative procedures for establishing companies and businesses; and entrepreneurial knowledge for young people.
