Nghe An province has a new Chief Prosecutor.

(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of August 15th, the Director of the Supreme People's Procuracy announced the decision to appoint the Director and Deputy Director of the People's Procuracy of Nghe An province.

At the ceremony, Comrade Le Minh Tri - Director of the Supreme People's Procuratorate - presented the Decision appointing Comrade Ton Thien Phuong as Director of the People's Procuratorate of Nghe An province and Comrade Ho Sy Cap as Deputy Director of the People's Procuratorate of Nghe An province.

Comrade Ton Thien Phuong was formerly the Deputy Director of the People's Procuratorate of Nghe An province, and Comrade Ho Sy Cap was formerly the Director of the People's Procuratorate of Vinh city.

Congratulating comrades Ton Thien Phuong and Ho Sy Cap on receiving the support of the Supreme People's Procuracy and the collective of officials and employees of the Nghe An Provincial People's Procuracy with a high sense of responsibility, Comrade Le Minh Tri requested that the two newly appointed comrades actively strive, make efforts, unite, mobilize collective strength, and effectively direct the performance of their functions in exercising the power of prosecution and supervising judicial activities.

The Chief Prosecutor of the Supreme People's Procuratorate requested that the comrades in their new positions proactively coordinate with the provincial law enforcement agencies and relevant departments to fulfill their responsibilities effectively, strengthening the internal affairs sector in general; and at the same time, advise the local Party committee and government on resolving issues and political tasks in the locality effectively.

On behalf of the newly appointed colleagues, Comrade Ton Thien Phuong pledged to fully absorb the directives of the Chief Prosecutor of the Supreme People's Procuracy and the provincial leadership to effectively carry out their duties, and together with the collective of the Provincial People's Procuracy, build a united and strong unit.

Earlier, at the Provincial Party Committee office, Comrade Le Minh Tri - Member of the Central Committee of the Party, Director of the Supreme People's Procuratorate - met and worked with Comrade Nguyen Dac Vinh, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee.

Expressing his delight at the recent socio-economic development of Nghe An, Comrade Le Minh Tri expressed his confidence that with wise leadership and close coordination among local Party committees, authorities, and relevant departments, Nghe An will make even stronger strides, worthy of being the homeland of the brilliant leader Ho Chi Minh.
