Previously, on January 2, 2021, during a surveillance operation, the Anh Son District Police discovered the suspect using a motorbike to conduct a drug transaction and set up a checkpoint. When surrounded, Long drove his motorbike into the task force in an attempt to escape but was subdued and arrested. The seized evidence included 30 pills.drugIn summary, during a search of the suspect's home, authorities seized an additional 470 pills.

It is known that Nguyen Van Long is a drug addict who frequently works in Laos. When the Covid-19 pandemic broke out, he returned to his hometown and continued to obtain drugs from Laos, both for personal use and to sell to other addicts in the surrounding area.
The Anh Son District Police are currently continuing their investigation and compiling a case file for processing according to the law.
