(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of December 26 in Vinh City, the Department of Science and Technology held a conference to announce outstanding scientific and technological events in Nghe An in 2016 and hand over scientific and technological research results to localities and related sectors.

In 2016, the Department of Science and Technology advised the Nghe An Provincial Party Committee to issue a Resolution on the development of science and technology in Nghe An province for the period 2016-2020, with a vision to 2025. The Resolution assessed the current status of science and technology activities in the province in recent years, and at the same time identified new goals, viewpoints, tasks and solutions to develop science and technology in Nghe An in the new period.

Policies to encourage and support the application of scientific and technological advances have been applied and promoted effectively in production and life. With some outstanding results such as using scientific products in agricultural production such as compost maker, biogreen, biological bedding, applying drip irrigation techniques for orange trees and sugarcane; low-cost fish farming in cages, etc.
