Nghe An province recognizes 3 more provincial-level tourist destinations.
(Baonghean.vn) - The Provincial People's Committee has just issued a Decision recognizing tourist destinations in Nghe An in 2018. The three destinations recognized in this round are Hoang Muoi Temple (Hung Nguyen), Qua Son Temple (Do Luong), and Khe Kem Waterfall (Con Cuong).

In the recognition decisions, the Provincial People's Committee requested the People's Committees of Hung Nguyen, Do Luong, and Con Cuong districts to take responsibility for presiding over and coordinating with relevant agencies, organizations, and individuals to effectively manage the tourist destinations.
In particular, it is necessary to protect, preserve, and develop tourism resources, ensure environmental hygiene, create favorable conditions for tourists to visit; ensure the safety of tourists, social order and security; ensure the participation of local communities in tourism activities; and create favorable conditions for the transportation of tourists.
Notably, the Provincial People's Committee requested the issuance of regulations and rules for the management and exploitation of tourist destinations in accordance with the Tourism Law and related documents. Along with this, they requested the development of explanatory content and promotional publications to enhance the value of these tourist destinations.

Previously, in December 2017, the Provincial People's Committee issued a decision recognizing 7 tourist destinations including: Truong Bon Historical Site (Do Luong District); Quang Trung Emperor Temple and Phuong Hoang Trung Do historical site; Ho Chi Minh Square and Ho Chi Minh Monument (Vinh City); Dai Tue Pagoda (Nam Dan District); Nghe Tinh Soviet Museum (Vinh City); Muong Thanh Dien Lam Eco-tourism Area (Dien Chau District); and Nua Village Community Tourism Site (Yen Khe Commune, Con Cuong District).
Thus, to date, Nghe An has 10 recognized tourist destinations. The recognition of local tourist destinations aims to professionalize these destinations, increase the persuasiveness and effectiveness of promoting and introducing them to tourists from near and far. At the same time, it emphasizes the role, responsibility, and awareness of the management sector, local authorities, and each citizen in protecting, preserving, and developing these destinations, affirming the quality of Nghe An's tourism brand.
