Nghe An recognizes 3 more provincial-level tourist destinations
(Baonghean.vn) - The Provincial People's Committee has just issued a Decision on recognizing Nghe An tourist attractions in 2018. The 3 locations recognized this time are Hoang Muoi Temple (Hung Nguyen), Qua Son Temple (Do Luong) and Khe Kem Waterfall (Con Cuong).

In the recognition decisions, the Provincial People's Committee requested the People's Committees of Hung Nguyen, Do Luong and Con Cuong districts to be responsible for presiding over and coordinating with relevant agencies, organizations and individuals to effectively manage tourist destinations.
In particular, it is necessary to protect, preserve and develop tourism resources, ensure environmental sanitation, create favorable conditions for tourists to visit; ensure safety for tourists, social order and security; ensure the participation of the community in tourism activities; create favorable conditions for the participation of means of transporting tourists.
Notably, the Provincial People's Committee requested the issuance of regulations and rules for the management and exploitation of tourist attractions in accordance with the provisions of the Tourism Law and related documents. Along with that, it is necessary to develop explanatory content, promotional and introductory publications to promote the value of tourist attractions.

Previously, in December 2017, the Provincial People's Committee issued a decision to recognize 7 tourist attractions including: Truong Bon historical relic site (Do Luong district); Quang Trung Emperor Temple and Trung Do Phoenix relic site; Ho Chi Minh Square and Uncle Ho Monument (Vinh city); Dai Tue Pagoda (Nam Dan district); Soviet Nghe Tinh Museum (Vinh city); Muong Thanh Dien Lam ecological area (Dien Chau district); Nua village community tourism site (Yen Khe commune, Con Cuong district).
Thus, up to this point, Nghe An has had 10 recognized tourist destinations. The recognition of local tourist destinations aims to professionalize tourist destinations, increase the persuasiveness and effectiveness of promoting and introducing destinations to visitors from near and far. At the same time, it promotes the role, responsibility and awareness of the management sector, local authorities and each citizen in protecting, preserving and promoting destinations, affirming the quality of Nghe An tourism brand./.
