To prepare for the exam marking, Nghe An Department of Education and Training mobilized more than 300 staff and teachers, mainly to mark the Literature exam - the only essay subject.
Although the exam scores have not been announced yet, because 4/5 subjects are multiple-choice, many students have basically graded their own exam scores.
Commenting on the results, a teacher at Phan Boi Chau High School for the Gifted said: This year, the A group exam scores are expected to be high, and the average score range will also be higher than last year. Particularly for groups A and B, many students have an average score of 3 subjects from 27 to 28.5. For example, in the IT class of Phan School, after the trial marking, 2 students achieved a score of 10 in Math.
After the National High School Exam, based on the exam, some schools have also predicted the results. At Huynh Thuc Khang High School, compared with the official answers of the Ministry of Education and Training, there were 14 candidates who achieved a total exam score (excluding priority points and regional points) of 27.0 or higher, of which 8 candidates achieved 28.0 points or higher (the highest was 28.95) in groups A, A1, B.
In previous years, Nghe An was also one of the provinces with the highest exam results in the country with many valedictorians and salutatorians. In 2015-2016, Nghe An had 2 valedictorians in block A, block B and one salutatorian in block A. All were students of class 12A1 - Phan Boi Chau High School for the Gifted.
