Nghe An has completed the grading of the National High School Graduation Exam.

(Baonghean.vn) - Nghe An is expected to announce the exam results on July 7th.

On the morning of July 4th, Mr. Thai Huy Vinh, Deputy Director of the Nghe An Department of Education and Training, announced that Nghe An had completed the grading of the National High School Graduation Examination papers.

All exam data for the five subjects—Mathematics, Literature, Foreign Language, Natural Sciences combination, and Social Sciences combination—of over 30,000 candidates has been sent by the Department of Education and Training to the Ministry for verification before the final results are released.

Nghe An province is expected to announce the exam results on July 7th.

Previously, regarding the information about "a perfect score of 10 in Literature" in the Nghe An examination cluster, the Department's leadership also affirmed: This information is completely inaccurate because all exam results are currently sealed.

To prepare for the grading process, the Nghe An Department of Education and Training mobilized more than 300 officials and teachers, primarily to grade the Literature exam – the only essay-based subject.

Although the exam results haven't been announced yet, since 4 out of 5 subjects were tested using multiple-choice questions, many students have already been able to assess their own scores.

Commenting on the results, a teacher at Phan Boi Chau Specialized High School said: "This year, we expect the scores for Group A subjects to be high, and the average scores will also be higher than last year. Specifically for Groups A and B, many students have average scores of 27-28.5 across the three subjects. For example, in the Computer Science class at Phan Boi Chau High School, after trial grading, two students achieved a perfect score of 10 in Mathematics."

Following the National High School Graduation Examination, based on the exam papers, some schools have predicted the results. At Huynh Thuc Khang High School, comparing with the official answer key from the Ministry of Education and Training, 14 candidates achieved a total exam score (excluding priority points and regional points) of 27.0 or higher, including 8 candidates who scored 28.0 or higher (the highest being 28.95) in blocks A, A1, and B.

In previous years, Nghe An was also one of the provinces with the highest exam results nationwide, with many valedictorians and salutatorians. In 2015-2016, Nghe An had two valedictorians in the A and B subject groups and one salutatorian in the A subject group. All were students from class 12A1 of Phan Boi Chau Specialized High School.
