Security, order, social safety, and health services for the election are being implemented comprehensively. From the grassroots to the provincial level, police, military, and health forces are proactively developing plans and are ready to handle any situation, ensuring that election day takes place safely, democratically, and in accordance with the law.

These days, election preparations in Tam Quang commune are proceeding urgently. National flags, banners, and slogans are prominently displayed along many roads. Along with visual propaganda, the government and various organizations are intensifying the dissemination of the Election Law through village and hamlet meetings and the public address system.

Tam Quang is a border commune with a large geographical area and a diverse ethnic population, comprising 7 electoral units and 9,074 voters. Therefore, preparations were carried out early and comprehensively. The commune police coordinated with various departments and agencies to review the population, cross-reference resident data, and promptly update any changes in the number of people.

Lieutenant Bui The Lam, Deputy Head of Tam Quang Commune Police, said: "The verification process was carried out meticulously, ensuring accuracy, no omissions, and no duplication of voters. The commune police also assisted in printing and distributing voter cards to each household, guiding people to check their information and make timely corrections if there are any errors."

Simultaneously, security and order maintenance work was implemented rigorously. The police force, in coordination with the Commune Military Command, Tam Quang Border Guard Post, and local authorities, developed a plan to ensure the safety of polling areas. The forces regularly exchanged information, closely monitored the local situation, increased patrols and controls, and promptly detected and handled any factors that could affect security and order.

Lieutenant Colonel Vi Van Soi, Commander of the Tam Quang Commune Military Command, said: “We proactively coordinated with the commune police and other relevant forces to implement a plan to ensure security and safety on election day; we deployed forces on standby and increased patrols at polling stations to promptly handle any arising situations.”

In the coastal commune of Quỳnh Phú, election preparations are also being implemented comprehensively. The entire commune has 7 polling units, with 69 polling stations serving 36,099 voters. The local authorities have mobilized more than 250 people to participate in election security duties.

Lieutenant Colonel Ho Xuan Tien, Commander of the Military Command of Quynh Phu Commune, stated: Security work is carried out with close coordination between military forces, police, and local security forces. The area is divided into 69 working groups, corresponding to 69 villages, each group consisting of 6 members, directly monitoring the area, gathering information, and promptly handling any arising issues. In addition, the military maintains a mobile platoon ready to provide support when needed. Security plans for polling stations are regularly practiced and reviewed. At polling stations, police, military, and militia forces are fully deployed to ensure security and order.

Alongside the task of maintaining security and order, medical services for the election have also been meticulously prepared. Seven health stations in Quynh Phu commune have developed plans and established teams on duty at polling stations to be ready to provide first aid, medical examinations and treatment, and disease prevention and control.

Dr. Tran Thi Minh Tho, Head of Son Hai Health Station, said: The health station has assigned staff to be on duty at polling stations to provide first aid, control disease outbreaks, and ensure food safety and hygiene. A sufficient supply of emergency medicine has been prepared to promptly handle any unforeseen situations. Each polling station has a medical team of 5 people. The health station maintains a staff on duty and has 4-5 hospital beds ready for use when needed.

Coordinate forces and ensure absolute safety.

According to the Nghe An Provincial Police, police forces at all levels are strengthening their monitoring of the local situation, proactively preventing and combating all types of crime, and ensuring that no factors affecting the election arise. The entire provincial police force has developed numerous security plans for polling stations and has mobilized the maximum number of police officers and local security and order protection forces to participate in serving the election.

In addition to providing direct security at polling stations, the police force also intensified efforts to monitor public opinion, promptly detect and address emerging issues, and prevent the formation of "hot spots".

Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Van Dao - Head of the Planning Department of the Nghe An Provincial Police emphasized: "The Nghe An Provincial Police are implementing a comprehensive range of professional measures, stepping up attacks and suppression of various types of crimes such as drug trafficking, high-tech crimes, and illegal lending... in order to clean up the area and contribute to ensuring security and safety for election day."

The Nghe An Provincial Police have investigated and uncovered 170 cases involving 689 individuals violating social order and gambling (resulting in a 12% reduction in social order crimes compared to the same period last year, with a criminal investigation and discovery rate exceeding 95%, and 100% for particularly serious cases); 260 cases involving 403 individuals committing drug-related crimes, seizing over 26 kg of various types of drugs; 1,217 cases involving 1,645 individuals committing economic and environmental crimes and violations, including 397 cases involving 488 individuals committing fireworks-related crimes, seizing over 3.8 tons of firecrackers; and organized the arrest and surrender of 32 wanted individuals, including many particularly dangerous fugitives who had been hiding abroad for many years (Laos, Cambodia, etc.). He has uncovered many major cases and investigations that have made a significant impact, and has been repeatedly commended and rewarded by the Ministry of Public Security and the Provincial People's Committee..

Along with the police force, the Nghe An Provincial Military Command also proactively developed security plans early on. Colonel Tran Vo Dung, Deputy Commander of the Provincial Military Command, emphasized: “We directed the local Military Commands to closely coordinate with the police force and relevant agencies to practice security plans and simultaneously implement security measures at polling stations. Security work was maintained throughout before, during, and after election day.”

Alongside the task of ensuring security, the Nghe An Health Department is also developing a plan to ensure the health and safety of voters and election workers. Mr. Tran Minh Tue, Deputy Director of the Department of Health, said: The Department has directed health units to strengthen disease surveillance, ensure environmental hygiene and food safety at polling stations. Each polling station has a permanent medical staff to handle any arising situations. Provincial hospitals have also established outpatient emergency teams, prepared ambulances, medicines, and necessary equipment to support localities when needed.

In addition, food safety measures have been strengthened through inspections of food businesses, catering services, and street food vendors, especially in areas serving election-related activities.
