Nghe An leads the North Central Emulation Cluster

(Baonghean.vn) - In the summary of the emulation scores and rankings in 2016, Nghe An province achieved nearly 990 points, ranking first in the North Central Emulation Cluster. This result was announced at the Conference to summarize the emulation and reward work in 2016 and deploy tasks in 2017 of the Emulation Cluster of the North Central provinces held on the morning of March 10.

In 2016, the North Central provinces proactively launched and implemented emulation movements regularly, continuously, with focus and key points, in the spirit of "The more difficult it is, the more we must compete".

Patriotic emulation movements have aroused the spirit of self-awareness, self-discipline, patriotism, creating motivation to promote socio-economic development, national defense and security in 6 provinces of North Central Vietnam.

According to the results of the 2016 emulation scoring and classification of the North Central Emulation Cluster, Nghe An province achieved nearly 990 points, ranked first and was proposed to the Prime Minister to receive the Excellent Emulation Flag; Thanh Hoa ranked second with 985 points, and was proposed to receive the Prime Minister's Certificate of Merit.

At the conference, leaders of the 6 North Central provinces focused on discussing a number of issues related to the content of Directive 34 of the Politburo in 2014 on innovation, promoting patriotic emulation movements, discovering, fostering and summarizing advanced models; Directive 18 of the Prime Minister in 2016 on launching emulation to successfully carry out socio-economic development tasks; Law on emulation and commendation, Government Decrees and documents guiding the implementation of emulation work in the current period.

To effectively implement the emulation movements in 2017, the North Central Emulation Cluster agreed on a number of key solutions, which are: strengthening the leadership of the Party and the management of the State in emulation work; enhancing the responsibility of the Emulation and Reward Councils at all levels, clusters and emulation blocks; promptly detecting and rewarding advanced models; focusing on perfecting and improving the quality of the Science and Innovation Councils at all levels; improving the quality of rewards, such as giving few rewards but with great effectiveness; promoting the application of information technology in professional work; focusing on inspection and supervision work at the grassroots level, issuing programs, actions and periodic inspection plans to promptly correct limitations and weaknesses in emulation and reward work.

Speaking at the conference, comrade Lam Phuong Thanh - Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda Department requested the North Central provinces to: Promote the dissemination of the Party and State's policies on emulation and rewards to all levels, sectors and the entire people; Promote emulation movements, focusing on key tasks; Strengthen guidance and inspection work so that the emulation movement is in the right direction and on target; Discover, build and replicate advanced models in all fields...
