Nghe An: Giant 28 kg potato discovered.

(Baonghean.vn) - A giant yam weighing 28 kg was unearthed by Mr. Nguyen Van Hung in Tuong Son commune, Anh Son district on the afternoon of February 25th.

At around 2 PM on February 25th, Mr. Nguyen Van Hung went to dig up the yam plants in his garden and discovered a yam of "unusual" size.

After digging it up, Mr. Hung couldn't believe his eyes; the potato was nearly 1 meter long. When weighed, this giant potato weighed over 28 kg.

According to Mr. Hung, his family has been growing these yams for the past two years without using any fertilizers or growth stimulants. This is the first time he has dug up yams this large.
