Nghe An proposes to confer the title of People's Armed Forces Hero on 9 collectives

(Baonghean.vn) - The Emulation and Reward Council of Nghe An province unanimously proposed to confer the title "Hero of the People's Armed Forces" on 9 collectives.

This Council analyzed and discussed the achievements of 9 collectives, including: My Thanh commune, Long Thanh commune, Minh Thanh commune, Vien Thanh commune.of Yen Thanh district; Quynh Nghia commune, Son Hai commune of Quynh Luu district; Company 202, Company 168, Company 333 of Nghe An province's Youth Volunteer Force.

The proposed communes are areas with a long tradition of revolution; the local people and armed forces have had exemplary battles in protecting the assigned areas and targets, contributing a lot of human and material resources to the resistance wars against the French and the Americans.

During the renovation period, these localities continued to promote traditions, achieving many results in socio-economic development and strengthening national defense and security.

After analysis and discussion; the Provincial Emulation and Reward Council voted and agreed to submit to the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee to propose the Emulation and Reward Council of Military Region 4 and the State Emulation and Reward Council to consider and decide to confer the title of "Hero of the People's Armed Forces" to the above 9 collectives.

Also at the conference, the Provincial Emulation and Reward Council voted unanimously to propose the Prime Minister to award a Certificate of Merit to Mr. Nguyen Van Huu, a member of the Farmers' Association of Hung Yen Bac commune, Hung Nguyen district, for his outstanding achievements in production and good business in the locality.
