Nghe An: Proposal to change the land use purpose of 242 hectares of rice paddy land and forest land.
(Baonghean.vn) - The People's Committee of Nghe An province has submitted a proposal to the Provincial People's Council to issue a Resolution allowing the conversion of 242.39 hectares of rice paddy land, protective forest land, and forest land for the implementation of investment projects in the province.

This area is the result of reviewing Resolution No. 196/NQ-HĐND of Nghe An province (dated December 20, 2015) on changing the land use purpose of rice fields, protective forests, and special-use forests to implement investment projects in Nghe An province. This area has been allocated for the construction of 144 public and community facilities to serve socio-economic development.
| The proposed land use conversion areas for rice cultivation land, protective forest land, and special-use forest land for this investment project are as follows: Vinh City - 50.87 ha; Cua Lo Town - 18.5 ha; Nghi Loc - 9.70 ha; Dien Chau - 22.36 ha; Hoang Mai Town - 13.75 ha; Quynh Luu - 9.28 ha; Thai Hoa Town - 23.42 ha; Nghia Dan - 2 ha; Que Phong - 6.46 ha; Tan Ky - 0.4 ha; Do Luong - 33.46 ha; Thanh Chuong - 26.47 ha; Hung Nguyen - 7.20 ha; Ky Son - 3.21 ha. |
Previously, in accordance with the 2013 Land Law and its implementing guidelines; based on Government Resolution No. 70/NQ-CP dated June 7, 2013, approving the land use plan until 2020 and the first 5-year land use plan (2011-2015) for Nghe An province, and the land use plan until 2020 and the first 5-year land use plan (2011-2015) for district-level units; and based on the 2016 socio-economic development plan of the province, the People's Committee of Nghe An province submitted to the Provincial People's Council for promulgation Resolution No. 196/NQ-HĐND dated December 20, 2015, on changing the land use purpose of rice cultivation land, protective forest land, and special-use forest land to implement investment projects in Nghe An province. The Provincial People's Council has authorized the conversion of 1,146.70 hectares of rice paddy land, protective forest land, and forest land for 991 construction projects in the province.
