(Baonghean.vn) - At approximately 12 noon on October 26th, a drowning incident occurred in Sa Vang village, Ta Ca commune, Ky Son district, resulting in the death of a 2-year-old child.

According to Mr. Moong Van Nhuon, Secretary of the Party Branch of Sa Vang village, Ta Ca commune, who directly witnessed the incident, at around that time, 2-year-old Cut Thi S., the eldest daughter of Mr. Cut Van H. and Ms. Lo Thi B. in Sa Vang village, Ta Ca commune, went to Huoi Nhu stream, about 200 meters from her house, to wash her hands. Because she was so young, she was swept away by the current.

When the child didn't return home, many villagers went searching for him. After more than 30 minutes of searching, the child's body was found about 50 meters from where he was swept away by the water. It is known that the family of Mr. Cụt Văn H. is classified as a poor household, with three generations living together in a makeshift hut.
Sharing in the family's grief, the People's Committee of Ta Ca commune and the Border Guard Station under the Nam Can Border Gate Border Guard Post visited and offered condolences.
