Nghe An - a 'golden' destination for investors

Road transport system with8 major national highways, of which, 3 vertical routes in the North - South direction (QL1A, QL15 and Ho Chi Minh road); 5 horizontal routes in the East - West direction connecting with the Lao economy (QL7, QL46, QL48, QL48B, 48C).

The province is also accelerating key transport infrastructure projects. In March 2021, the 5.2 km long Cua Hoi bridge with a total investment of VND 950 billion connecting Nghe An - Ha Tinh was inaugurated; the Ninh Binh - Bai Vot expressway project is expected to open to traffic in 2022. Vinh - Cua Lo Boulevard with a total investment of VND 1,411 billion has opened to traffic on the entire route. The Nghi Son - Cua Lo coastal road project was started in July 2020.

Nghe An ownsVinh AirportPart of the international airport network, capacity of 3 million passengers/year, is the main airport of the North Central region.

Possessing a long coastline, Nghe An has many advantages in developing its seaport system. Nghe An currently has 7 seaports, of which,Cua Lo Portis a large-scale commercial port with a wharf length of more than 3 km, along with many advanced loading and unloading equipment, a modern warehouse system, transporting goods to provinces and cities in the country and all over the world.

The railway system is 94 km long, stretching from North to South. Of which,Vinh Railway StationRated as a class 1 station, the 3rd largest passenger and transport station in the country.

Along with Vietnam's open-door policy and international economic integration, in recent years Nghe An has continued to develop strongly and comprehensively, focusing on building industrial parks. Industrial parks in Nghe An include: Bac Vinh, Song Dinh, Nam Cam, Tri Le, Nghia Dan, Tan Ky, Dong Hoi, Tho Loc, Hoang Mai I. WHA Hemaraj 1 Industrial Park has been implemented since 2017 and is expected to be completed in 2023.

In 2020, investment capital in the Southeast Economic Zone and industrial parks of Nghe An province reached over 14,289 billion VND, an increase of 75.8% over the same period. That result is the effort to improve the investment environment; knowing how to promote internal resources, making the most of external resources.

The bright spot in attracting investment in Nghe An isVSIP Nghe An Industrial, Urban and Service Parkwas established in 2015,with a total area of ​​750 hectares, of which 370 hectares are industrial parks and 380 hectares are urban - service areas. In November 2020, VSIP Nghe An was honored to become one of the first industrial parks in Nghe An to achieve all 3 ISO certifications for quality management system (9001), environmental management system (14001) and occupational health and safety management system (45001).
