Nghe An: Suspending the circulation of imported fake Western medicine
(Baonghean.vn) - Nghe An Department of Health has just issued an official dispatch requesting that drug trading and using establishments are not allowed to trade or use Nexium 20mg and Nexium 40mg under the name of the importing enterprise, Armephaco Joint Stock Company, address 118 Vu Xuan Thieu, Phuc Loi, Long Bien District, Hanoi.
Accordingly, tThis drug has some characteristics that are different from drugs that have been licensed for circulation by the Ministry of Health as follows:
Smuggled Nexium drugs are labeled as Nexium 20mg and Nexium 40mg, while licensed Nexium drugs are labeled as Nexium mups 20mg and Nexium mups 40mg.

Registration number/import license number, the facility importing smuggled drugs states: PARALLEL IMPORTED DRUGS. GPNK 16738/QLD-KD dated December 19, 2011 or 2765/QLD-KD dated February 27, 2013; or another license number impersonating the importing company: ARMEPHACO Joint Stock Company; and the real drug Nexium mups 20mg: Registration number VN- 19783-16 and the drug Nexium mups 40ng Registration number VN-19782-16 Phytopharma Joint Stock Company.
The language on the box and instructions for use of smuggled drugs is in Turkish, while licensed drugs have Vietnamese on the box and instructions for use.
Nghe An Department of Health requests drug trading and using establishments to check their premises. If they detect smuggled Nexium 20mg and Nexium 40mg with the above signs, they are requested to stop buying, selling, using, sealing and reporting to the Drug Administration Department, Nghe An Department of Health./.
