Nghe An welcomes a delegation from Ho Chi Minh City returning to their roots.
(Baonghean.vn) - This is the first of ten trips to the birthplace of President Ho Chi Minh that Ho Chi Minh City will organize from now until August 2019.
On the morning of May 7th, more than 80 delegates, representing exemplary individuals from various sectors, industries, ethnic groups, and religions in Ho Chi Minh City, led by Ms. Than Thi Thu - Head of the Propaganda Department of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee, arrived in Nghe An as part of the "Everlasting Faith" tourism program.

This is the first of ten trips to the birthplace of President Ho Chi Minh that Ho Chi Minh City will organize from now until August 2019, for outstanding individuals in Ho Chi Minh City to commemorate the 129th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birth (May 19, 1890 - May 19, 2019) and the 50th anniversary of the implementation of his Last Will and Testament (1969 - 2019), and also to respond to the launch of the tourism program "Journey to the Source and Discovering the Beauty of Nghe An" organized by the Department of Tourism in Ho Chi Minh City last April.
The delegation's itinerary for this trip to the historical sites includes visiting and offering incense and flowers at many significant locations in Nghe An province, such as the Kim Lien - Nam Dan National Special Historical Site, the Nguyen Thi Minh Khai Memorial House, the Quang Trung Emperor Temple, the Nghe Tinh Soviet Museum, and then continuing on to Ha Tinh to offer incense at Dong Loc Crossroads and the Ly Tu Trong Historical Site, before traveling to Quang Binh to visit the tomb of General Vo Nguyen Giap.
