Nghe An welcomes the first investor to visit the province at the beginning of the Year of the Rooster 2017.

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of January 31st (the 4th day of the Lunar New Year of the Rooster 2017), Mr. David Withead - Chairman of Mavin AustFeed Group Limited (Australia) visited and worked with the leaders of Nghe An province.

Receiving and working with the delegation were: Nguyen Dac Vinh - Member of the Central Committee of the Party, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation; Nguyen Xuan Duong - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; and Le Ngoc Hoa - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.

On the occasion of the traditional Vietnamese New Year, Mr. David Whithead sent his best wishes for success and prosperity to the provincial leaders.

Currently, Mavin AustFeed (Australia) Co., Ltd. is investing in and constructing a livestock feed processing plant in the Nam Cam Industrial Park, scheduled for inauguration on February 18, 2017. The company also plans to invest in and build a clean pig farming facility in Anh Son district, covering 58 hectares with a total investment of 350 billion VND, expected to commence construction in early 2018.

On behalf of the Provincial Party Committee, Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Dac Vinh highly appreciated the investment of Mavin AustFeed Co., Ltd. in Nghe An province in recent times. Although it was the traditional Vietnamese Lunar New Year holiday, Mr. David Whithead's visit to congratulate Nghe An province meant bringing joy and good fortune to the province in 2017.

The Provincial Party Secretary affirmed that Nghe An will create the most favorable conditions for Mavin Aust Feed Company to continue the construction of a clean pig farming area in Anh Son district. This investment is very much in line with the policy of developing the western region of Nghe An province according to the trend of high-tech agricultural development.

During the meeting, the Provincial Party Secretary and the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested Mavin AustFeed Co., Ltd. to pay attention to environmental protection issues when investing and producing, and also requested that, through Mr. David Whithead, they facilitate the organization of an investment promotion event in Australia for Nghe An province as soon as possible.

On this occasion, Mr. David Whithead donated 500 million VND to the Nghe An Provincial Social Fund.
