Nghe An brings Vi and Giam folk songs to serve tourists on April 30
(Baonghean.vn) - To promote the value of intangible cultural heritage of Nghe An folk songs, on the occasion of April 30, many tourist destinations in Nghe An have created folk song programs to serve tourists.
To serve tourists on the occasion of April 30 and May 1, in addition to activities such as offering flowers, incense, and visiting the paternal and maternal hometowns of Uncle Ho, the Center for Preservation and Promotion of Nghe An Folk Heritage will organize folk singing of Vi, Giam, and Phuong Vai to serve tourists at the Kim Lien Relic Site.

This activity is expected to take place from April 25 to May 19. Time is from 9am to 11am at the thatched house of Mr. Vuong Hoang My's family, near Uncle Ho's house in his hometown (Sen village, Kim Lien relic site).
The organizers will select and perform special performances of Vi and Giam folk songs; combining traditional and contemporary performance styles to serve tourists free of charge.

Also on this occasion, at Cua Lo beach town, at 7pm every Saturday at the Sea Daisy Park, the Town's Cultural and Sports Center coordinates with the Vi and Giam folk song clubs of Nghi Hai and Nghi Thuy wards to perform folk songs, call-and-response, and songs with folk melodies to serve tourists when they come to Cua Lo.
