Nghe An ranks first nationwide in the number of vehicles violating speed limits.
(Baonghean.vn) - In November, with 28,491 speeding violations per 1,000 km, Nghe An province ranked first nationwide in terms of speeding violations.
On December 8th, the Vietnam Road Administration (VRA) announced the results of a comprehensive analysis of traffic violations based on data from vehicle tracking devices for November 2015. In particular, Nghe An province recorded 28,491 instances of speeding violations per 1,000 km/h, an increase of 12,857 violations compared to October.
With this number of violations, Nghe An ranks only behind Phu Yen on the "overall list". Cumulatively for the first 11 months of 2015, Nghe An also leads the country with 498,211 violations.

The 10 provinces and cities with the highest number of speeding violations (per 1,000km) are: Nghe An, Phu Yen, Binh Phuoc, Quang Ninh, Thai Binh, Kon Tum, Binh Dinh, Lao Cai, Ba Ria - Vung Tau and Gia Lai.

Based on the compiled results, in November 2015, the authorities handled 342 vehicles (revoking vehicle permits and suspending route operations for a period of 1 month for 328 vehicles; revoking business licenses for 4 units; and refusing to issue vehicle permits for 10 vehicles).
Twenty-eight out of 63 localities have reported the results of handling violations, including revoking vehicle permits, suspending operations, or refusing to issue permits; nine out of 63 localities have issued reminders, corrections, criticisms, and warnings; the remaining 26 out of 63 localities have not yet reported. Cumulatively, in the first 11 months of 2015, 5,197 vehicles were found to have violated regulations.
