Nghe An received more than 1,700 tons of rice from the government
The Prime Minister has just directed the Ministry of Finance to provide (free of charge) more than 10,400 tons of rice from the national reserve to 12 provinces: Yen Bai, Cao Bang, Ha Nam, Tuyen Quang, Thanh Hoa, Nghe An, Quang Tri, Lao Cai, Ninh Thuan, Dak Nong, Kon Tum, Quang Ngai.

In particular, the Prime Minister directed the Ministry of Finance to provide (free of charge) 8,013.805 tons of rice from the national reserve to the provinces of Yen Bai, Cao Bang, Ha Nam, Tuyen Quang, Thanh Hoa, Nghe An, Quang Tri, Lao Cai, Ninh Thuan, Dak Nong, Kon Tum to support people during the 2017 Lunar New Year.
Specifically, support for Yen Bai province is 397,350 tons of rice; Cao Bang province is 625,275 tons of rice; Ha Nam province is 418,935 tons of rice; Tuyen Quang province is 310,290 tons of rice; Thanh Hoa province is 650,250 tons of rice; Nghe An province is 1,766,265 tons of rice; Quang Tri province is 1,485,990 tons of rice; Lao Cai province is 247,860 tons of rice; Ninh Thuan province is 1,134,465 tons of rice; Dak Nong province is 400 tons of rice; Kon Tum province is 577,125 tons of rice.
The Prime Minister requested the People's Committees of the above provinces to be responsible for the reported data; receive and use the allocated rice to ensure timely support for the right subjects according to regulations.
The Prime Minister also directed the Ministry of Finance to provide (without collecting money) 2,419.695 tons of rice from the national reserve to Quang Ngai province to support hunger relief for the people, including: Support 1,717.995 tons of rice to relieve hunger during the Lunar New Year; support 368.37 tons of rice to relieve hunger due to the hand-foot-mouth disease epidemic; support 333.33 tons of rice to relieve hunger due to the flood in 2016.
Quang Ngai Provincial People's Committee is responsible for receiving and promptly supporting the right subjects according to regulations.
