Nghe An: Nearly 90 artisans receive training in Vi and Giam folk singing.
On the morning of October 24th, the Nghe An Provincial Center for Traditional Arts held the opening ceremony for the training course for the Nghe Tinh Folk Song Club in Nghe An province for the year 2025.
Attending the opening ceremony were representatives from the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism; leaders of the Provincial Traditional Arts Center; and students from folk song clubs in the province.
Speaking at the opening ceremony of the training course, Meritorious Artist Ta Hong Duong – Deputy Director of the Provincial Traditional Arts Center – stated: In implementing the National Action Program on protecting and promoting the value of the Nghe Tinh folk song heritage, the Nghe An Traditional Arts Center annually organizes training courses and imparts folk songs to students.artisanTeachers, students, and grassroots cultural officials contribute to preserving, promoting, and spreading the value of heritage in contemporary life.

Continuing that tradition, the Center is organizing the 2025 Nghe Tinh Folk Song Club Training Course. The course brings together nearly 90 participants, including artisans and core members of 35 Nghe Tinh Folk Song Clubs throughout the province.
During the 5-day training course, participants will have access to in-depth and practical content: updating knowledge on organizing and operating folk music clubs in the new context; improving practical skills in composing, arranging, and performing folk songs; learning methods for teaching and expanding the folk music movement in conjunction with cultural education, tourism, and community life…
The training course is not just a professional course, but also a journey of knowledge enrichment and fostering a sense of cultural responsibility.

Each artisan and trainee returning to their locality will be a "living cultural nucleus," continuing to lead, connect, and spread folk songs in the community, contributing to making them more vibrant.wallet, padThey are becoming increasingly relevant, appealing, and vibrant in contemporary life.
After this training course, each participant will return with a new vision, a new energy, continuing to be a creator, a practitioner, and a teacher, so that the melodies of the folk songs will forever resonate in the beloved land of Nghe An.
