There are 40 prisoners.sentence reductionOn this occasion, 17 inmates had their sentences completely reduced and returned to their families. These inmates had complied well with the regulations of the detention facility, actively participated in learning and labor for rehabilitation during their sentences.
On this occasion, the Nghe An Provincial Police Detention Center presented gifts to 3 inmates with good rehabilitation records and 1 outstanding inmate team. Ten inmates with difficult circumstances also received Tet gifts from the Detention Center's management board.

The work of reducing prison sentences reflects the lenient policy of the Party and the State, and the humanitarian tradition of our nation towards convicted criminals, while also encouraging those serving prison sentences to repent, actively study, work, and reform in order to be eligible for sentence reduction, strive, train, reintegrate, and become useful members of society.
