Nghe An: Gangsters in Vinh City shoot rival in the stomach at night.
During a brawl on Lenin Avenue (Vinh City, Nghe An province) at night, a 28-year-old gang leader pulled out a homemade gun and shot two people, seriously injuring them, before fleeing.
The Vinh City Police (Nghe An province) confirmed that a brawl between two gangs occurred on Le Nin Boulevard (Vinh City) on the night of October 20th, resulting in two injuries.
According to the investigation, a group of three young men were sitting at a pub on Lenin Avenue when another group of young men with whom they had a prior conflict entered the pub and demanded to settle their dispute outside. On the street in front of the pub, after a few heated words, the two groups of young men engaged in a brawl. During the melee, one person pulled out a homemade gun and fired multiple shots at the opposing side.
As a result, one person was shot in the abdomen with the bullet lodged in their spine, and the other was hit in the shoulder. Police later arrived to restore order and arrested two people involved.
"The 28-year-old suspect, residing in Quang Trung ward (Vinh city), who shot and seriously injured two people, has fled. The two arrested individuals were part of the same group as the shooter," a police officer said.

The two victims in the case are receiving emergency treatment at a hospital under police supervision.
Authorities say the gunman is a notorious local criminal, and police are deploying forces to apprehend him and are calling for his surrender. The victims were also thugs in Nghe An province.
