Nghe An: Fire destroys incense factory

(Baonghean.vn) - At 7:15 a.m. on April 12, a fire broke out and completely burned down Mr. Hoang Van Tham's 1,500 m2 incense factory in Yen Giang block, Vinh Tan ward, Vinh city (Nghe An).

The fire broke out at the back of the factory. Some workers at the factory discovered the fire early and actively fought it. However, because the fire was so large, the workers only had time to shout and move some assets in the factory out.

Fire police force arrived promptly and extinguished the fire.

This is an incense factory that contains many flammable materials such as incense, dry bamboo, sawdust, etc., so the fire quickly engulfed the entire factory and spread to two neighboring houses. Dozens of people nearby panicked and ran out into the street with their belongings.

Immediately after receiving the news, Fire Prevention and Fighting Police Department No. 1 (Nghe An Province Fire Prevention and Fighting Police) mobilized forces and vehicles to coordinate with local people to promptly control and extinguish the fire.

Authorities are currently assessing the damage and investigating the cause of the fire.
