At the meeting, the Provincial People's Committee Office reported on the implementation results of the Notice of Conclusion of the Provincial People's Committee Chairman at the regular meeting of the Provincial People's Committee in March, including 10 key tasks.
Delegates attending the meeting listened to and gave their opinions on the socio-economic situation in April, tasks and solutions for May 2016 reported by the leaders of the Department of Planning and Investment. The industrial production development index in April decreased by 6% compared to March, due to the sugar pressing season ending one month earlier. The cumulative export turnover of goods in the first 4 months is estimated at over 133 million USD, up 5.78% over the same period. The budget revenue in the first 4 months of the year is estimated at nearly 3,060 billion VND, reaching 29.8% of the estimate.

By mid-April 2016, Nghe An had issued new and adjusted investment certificates for 28 projects, with a total registered capital of nearly VND17,850 billion.
