Doctor Tran Tien - Director of Dien Chau General Hospital said:This baby is the second child of mother Ngo Thi Phuong (born in 1984, in Dien Bich commune, Dien Chau district).

"The pregnant woman Ngo Thi Phuong was admitted to the hospital at 5:30 p.m. on March 15 in labor. After examination, the obstetricians discovered that the fetus was too large, so they decided to perform a cesarean section to ensure the safety of both mother and child," Dr. Tien added.

At 3:00 p.m. on March 16, the pregnant woman Ngo Thi Phuong was taken to the operating table. The surgical team successfully delivered the baby, weighing 6 kg. The baby's health was completely normal at birth.

Also according to Dr. Tran Tien: Tests showed no signs of illness in the mother because mothers with diabetes often give birth to babies with abnormal weight. Currently, the baby's health is stable, but the baby is still being monitored because of the special weight.

In her first birth, mother Ngo Thi Phuong also gave birth to a baby boy weighing more than 4kg./.
