Nghe An province is organizing the Vinh Orange Fair for the first time.

(Baonghean.vn) - According to the plan of the People's Committee of Nghe An province, from December 27-30, 2017, the Vinh Orange Fair will be held in Vinh City, organized by the Department of Science and Technology.

Approximately 40 stalls displaying oranges from the districts of Nghia Dan, Quy Hop, Yen Thanh, Con Cuong, Anh Son, Thanh Chuong, Tan Ky, and Nghi Loc are expected to be present.

This is the first time Nghe An province has organized the Vinh Orange Fair. The fair provides an opportunity for organizations, associations, farms, and households producing oranges to promote and introduce their products and potential, as well as share experiences in growing clean oranges and applying scientific and technological advancements to improve the productivity and quality of Vinh oranges. This will contribute to bringing Vinh oranges to a wider range of consumers both within and outside the province.

In addition to the booth activities and experience-sharing sessions, the fair also organized a Vinh Orange Contest with the theme "Beautiful, Delicious, and Safe Vinh Orange - Nghe An Product Booths"; and a seminar on "Managing and Developing the Vinh Orange - Nghe An Brand" to introduce and exchange useful information for organizations, businesses, orange-growing households, and those interested in the Vinh orange brand.

Through the workshop, delegates will share experiences in developing community-based tourism associated with orange farm models, and ecotourism linked to high-tech agricultural products in Nghe An.
