(Baonghean.vn) - While carrying water from a neighbor's house, a woman was unexpectedly electrocuted to death by a low-voltage power line that became entangled in her body.
This afternoon (December 12th), the People's Committee of Tan Thang commune, Quynh Luu district, announced that a tragic accident occurred in the commune, resulting in a woman being electrocuted to death on the spot.
Accordingly, at around 1:30 PM on the same day, Ms. Ha Thi On (61 years old, residing in Tan Tien hamlet, Tan Thang commune, Quynh Luu district) was carrying water from her neighbor's house when she tripped over a broken power line that had fallen onto the road, causing her death on the spot.
Upon discovering the incident, people rushed to the scene, but the victim had already died.
According to residents, they had previously discovered that the power lines leading to Tan Tien hamlet had broken and fallen onto the road. Many people reported this to the local electricians, but the incident occurred before they could cut off the power. The incident is currently being investigated by the authorities.
