Nghe An: People caught a crocodile while fishing

Talking to reporters, Mr. Cao Huy Chung - a witness said: On the evening of October 2, at around 9 pm, a group was fishing at Bau Sen when they discovered a crocodile about 0.6 - 0.7 m long, weighing about 3 kg with sharp teeth. When touching the fish, it was ferocious, its mouth snapped repeatedly and its skin was very hard. Currently, the crocodilecrocodilewas temporarily raised by someone near Bau Sen while waiting for a solution.

The capture of a crocodile in Bau Sen has made many people living nearby very worried. People have asked the authorities to conduct an inspection and survey of Bau Sen to find out if there are any more crocodiles, so that people can rest assured.

Crocodilia is a reptile in the aquatic order. Most species are 2-5m long, some up to 6m (old males). The crocodile's body is elongated, with a flat head and a long snout; conical teeth curved inward; a very strong tail, flattened in the shape of a paddle; short, large legs with webbed fingers; the tips of the toes have horny nails to help the animal not slip when moving on land. The eyes are located very high on the top of the snout, the nostrils and ears have water-proof valves convenient for swimming underwater. The tongue is thick and immobile. The whole body is covered by a thick layer of skin. Under the dorsal skin there are thick skin plates forming an armor, the upper back and tail have raised horny scales.
