Nghe An province allocates over 928 tons of rice to support students.

(Baonghean.vn) - The People's Committee of Nghe An province issued Decision No. 5780 QD.UBND, dated November 22, 2016, on the allocation of rice support for the remaining 3 months of the first semester of the 2016-2017 school year for students in the province; accordingly:

A total of 928,605 kg of rice (nine hundred and twenty-eight tons, six hundred and five kilograms) was allocated to districts and towns in Nghe An province to support students in schools in areas with particularly difficult socio-economic conditions for three months, during the first semester of the 2016-2017 school year.

The Nghe Tinh Regional State Reserve Bureau organizes the transportation and direct delivery of rice to the People's Committees of the listed districts and towns (see list below), ensuring quality, completeness, and timeliness.

The Department of Education and Training, the People's Committees of the relevant districts and towns, in coordination with the Nghe Tinh Regional State Reserve Bureau, are tasked with organizing the reception and distribution of rice to schools in the area, ensuring timeliness, convenience, and cost-effective transportation; and directing and inspecting the timely reception and distribution of rice to the correct student recipients.

Funding for the distribution, transportation, and delivery of rice to students will follow the guidelines in Circular No. 15777/BTC-TCDT dated November 4, 2016, from the Ministry of Finance; the People's Committees of districts and towns will proactively allocate local budgets to transport rice for students, then compile the funding needs and submit them to the Department of Finance for advice and submission to the Provincial People's Committee for decision.

This Decision takes effect from the date of signing. The Chief of the Provincial People's Committee Office; the Directors of the Departments of Education and Training, and Finance; the Director of the Nghe Tinh Regional State Reserve Bureau; the Chairmen of the People's Committees of the districts and towns; and all relevant organizations and individuals are responsible for implementing this Decision.
