Nghe An province strives to have an additional 33 villages and 39 gardens meet the standards of the new rural development program.
The People's Committee of Nghe An province has just issued a Decision assigning targets for the construction of villages, hamlets, and communities; and the construction of gardens that meet the standards of new rural areas by 2025.

According to Decision No. 2114/QD-UBND dated August 16, 2024, the Provincial People's Committee assigned targets for the construction of 33 new rural villages and hamlets in 2025 and the construction of 39 new rural standard gardens in 2025 to the districts and towns.
Specifically, the allocation of 16 standard gardens is as follows: Que Phong (3 villages/hamlets, 2 standard gardens); Thanh Chuong (3 standard gardens); Dien Chau (3 standard gardens); Do Luong (3 standard gardens); Hung Nguyen (3 standard gardens); Quy Hop (2 standard gardens, 1 village/hamlet); Quynh Luu (3 standard gardens); Tuong Duong (1 standard garden, 3 villages/hamlets); Ky Son (9 villages/hamlets); Nghi Loc (3 standard gardens); Hoang Mai (1 standard garden); Nam Dan (4 standard gardens); Quy Chau (2 standard gardens, 4 villages/hamlets); Con Cuong (3 standard gardens, 7 villages/hamlets); Anh Son (2 standard gardens, 2 villages/hamlets); and Yen Thanh (4 standard gardens).
The Provincial People's Committee assigns departments and agencies; and the People's Committees of districts and towns to guide, direct, and support localities in implementing the plan to build villages and hamlets that meet the standards of new rural areas by 2025 and to build gardens that meet the standards of new rural areas by 2025.
As of June 2024, Nghe An province had 212 villages/hamlets that met the standards for new rural areas and 374 gardens that met the standards for new rural areas.
