(Baonghean.vn) - 28 villages and hamlets included in the plan to achieve new rural standards in 2024 are being implemented in 7 mountainous districts, including: Thanh Chuong (2 villages/hamlets); Tan Ky (4 villages/hamlets); Tuong Duong (7 villages/hamlets); Ky Son (7 villages/hamlets); Quy Chau (3 villages/hamlets); Con Cuong (3 villages/hamlets) and Anh Son (2 villages/hamlets).

Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Nghe An province, Nguyen Van De, recently signed Decision No. 4462/QD-UBND dated December 29th, assigning targets for the construction of new rural villages and hamlets in 2024 and the construction of gardens meeting new rural standards in 2024.

Accordingly, 28 villages and hamlets are included in the plan to achieve the standards.new rural areasIn 2024, the project was implemented in 7 mountainous districts, specifically: Thanh Chuong district (2 villages/hamlets); Tan Ky district (4 villages/hamlets); Tuong Duong district (7 villages/hamlets); Ky Son district (7 villages/hamlets); Quy Chau district (3 villages/hamlets); Con Cuong district (3 villages/hamlets); and Anh Son district (2 villages/hamlets).

ForThe garden meets the standards of the new rural development program.There are 59 gardens in 19 districts and towns. These include: Vinh City (2 gardens); Que Phong (3 gardens); Thanh Chuong (4 gardens); Dien Chau (3 gardens), Do Luong (4 gardens), Hung Nguyen (5 gardens); Tan Ky (4 gardens); Quy Hop (3 gardens); Nghia Dan (3 gardens), Quynh Luu (4 gardens); Tuong Duong (1 garden), Nghi Loc (4 gardens); Nam Dan (6 gardens); Quy Chau (3 gardens); Con Cuong (4 gardens), Anh Son (3 gardens); Yen Thanh (3 gardens) and Hoang Mai town (1 garden).

However, localities have registered to build 176 model gardens for the new rural development program. Some localities registered a large number, such as Dien Chau with 25 gardens, Do Luong with 20 gardens, Anh Son with 20 gardens, Nam Dan with 15 gardens, and Tan Ky with 12 gardens...

The Provincial People's Committee assigns provincial departments and agencies; and the People's Committees of districts, cities, and towns to guide, direct, and support localities in the implementation process.

Currently, the entire province has 197 villages and hamlets that meet the standards of new rural areas, and it is expected that an additional 15 villages and hamlets will meet these standards in the near future; the province also has 348 gardens that meet the standards of new rural areas. An additional 190 gardens will be assessed and recognized as meeting the standards of new rural areas in the near future.
