On the morning of October 12th, at the North Nghe An Economic and Technical College (Quynh Son commune), the Department of Education and Training and the Provincial Association for the Promotion of Learning organized the launching ceremony for the "Lifelong Learning Week" 2025.

The "Lifelong Learning Week" in 2025 will be implemented with the theme "Learning to develop oneself, master knowledge and technology, and contribute to building a strong and prosperous nation."

Therefore, The aim is to raise awareness among all segments of the population about the role of learning, especially self-learning and lifelong learning, in mastering knowledge and technology to adapt to the rapid changes of the digital society.

This activity aims to strengthen the leadership and guidance of Party committees and government authorities, as well as the coordination of political and social organizations, professional associations, and the business community in the implementation process.

The highlight of Lifelong Learning Week is the close connection between learning and digital transformation, with diverse and creative activities focusing on the application of information technology and digital platforms to ensure practicality and effectiveness. These activities are not limited to schools but extend to the community, agencies, and businesses, creating a widespread, interconnected, and sustainable learning movement.

Speaking at the launching ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Van Khoa, Member of the Provincial Party Committee and Deputy Director of the Department of Education and Training, affirmed the importance of learning. To realize these goals, at the launching ceremony, the leaders of the Department of Education and Training requested that Party committees, government agencies, and mass organizations continue to pay attention to, support, and allocate more resources to building a learning society, creating conditions for all citizens, regardless of age or circumstances, to access new knowledge and technology.

From the perspective of the Education and Training sector, educational institutions, libraries, and community learning centers need to foster creativity and organize practical activities to promote a reading and learning culture, so that each school becomes a "house of knowledge," and each village becomes a "learning village."
