Nghe An: A shipment of imported detergents without proper documentation was discovered.

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of April 28, the Traffic Police force of Vinh City Police checked a car with license plate 37C-160.92 showing suspicious signs and discovered a shipment of imported detergents without invoices.

Traffic police in Vinh City are drawing up a report on the goods that lacked legitimate invoices.

Upon inspection, traffic police discovered that driver Nguyen Van Long (30 years old), residing in Thanh Thinh commune, Thanh Chuong district, was transporting a large quantity of cosmetics, soft drinks, bathroom cleaner, laundry detergent, etc., all bearing foreign brand names, worth approximately 100 million VND.

Dozens of boxes of toilet cleaner and laundry detergent, all manufactured abroad, were seized.

The owner of the shipment is Ms. Le Thi Hue, residing in Trung Do Ward, Vinh City, Nghe An Province. According to Ms. Hue, all the goods belong to a General Corporation in Hanoi, and she is the distributor in Nghe An. However, when authorities inspected the shipment, they discovered dozens of boxes of toilet cleaners and laundry detergents of foreign origin without invoices or documents proving their source.

All goods lacking valid invoices and documentation were unloaded and temporarily held in the evidence storage facility.

Ms. Hue explained: before loading the goods onto the truck to be transported back to Nghe An, the General Corporation's accountant forgot to provide the accompanying VAT invoice. She has now contacted Hanoi, and the General Corporation will send it this afternoon.

To clarify the matter, on the morning of April 28, all the goods without documentation proving their origin were temporarily taken to the Vinh City Police's evidence storage facility for processing according to regulations.
