Nghe An is developing its bus and taxi services strongly.

(Baonghean.vn) - To date, Nghe An has opened 16 bus routes from Vinh City to the centers of districts and towns in the province and 15 taxi companies serving passenger transport.

There are 6 bus transportation companies operating with 146 vehicles. Along with buses, taxi transportation continues to develop strongly. In 2010, there were only 2 taxi companies operating in the province with nearly 500 vehicles; now, the entire province has 15 taxi companies with over 1,400 vehicles. Of these, Mai Linh Taxi alone has 730 vehicles with 4-7 seats, accounting for 51% of the total number of taxis in the province; Van Xuan Taxi has approximately 300 vehicles, Vinh Taxi has 100 vehicles, Song Lam Taxi has 65 vehicles, and so on.

The strong development of public transportation has significantly contributed to resolving traffic congestion and accidents, aligning with the urbanization trend in Nghe An.
