Nghe An approves the results of the 2025 OCOP product evaluation and classification.
The Provincial People's Committee has just issued Decision No. 636/QD-UBND dated February 13, 2026, approving the results of the product ranking assessment for the One Commune One Product program in Nghe An province in 2025.
In 2025, the Provincial OCOP Product Evaluation and Classification Council received 103 products from 55 entities across 37 wards and communes registering for OCOP product evaluation and classification. Of these, 14 products were subject to re-evaluation, 5 products were upgraded from 3-star to 4-star, and 84 products were undergoing initial classification.

According to Decision No. 636/QD-UBND of the Provincial People's Committee:
-Two products have been upgraded from OCOP 3-star to 4-star: Cua Hoi fish sauce from Nghe An Aquatic Products Joint Stock Company, Hai Giang 1 block, Cua Lo ward, Nghe An province, and Hon Mat tourism (Hon Mat Tourism and Service Company Limited, Son Hai hamlet, Nghia Loc commune, Nghe An province).

- One product, Cua Lo fish sauce from Nghe An Aquatic Products Joint Stock Company, Hai Giang 1 block, Cua Lo ward, Nghe An province, was re-evaluated and re-ranked to 4 stars, and 16 OCOP products from 11 entities were re-evaluated and re-ranked to 3 stars.

-In addition, the Provincial People's Committee also approved and recognized for the first time 70 OCOP products achieving 3-star rating from 42 entities.

The OCOP products that achieve the 3rd and 4th star ratings mentioned above will be granted provincial-level OCOP product certificates by the Provincial People's Committee, and will be allowed to use the OCOP logo and stamp on their packaging and labels; products that are recognized for the first time and products that are upgraded in rank will be rewarded according to regulations.
The recognized products are valid for 3 years (36 months) from the date of issuance of the Decision.

The Provincial People's Committee assigns the Department of Agriculture and Environment - the Standing Agency of the Provincial OCOP Program - to: Advise on the organization of the public announcement of ranked products; guide businesses, cooperatives, and production households in using and printing OCOP labels and star ratings on the packaging of recognized products according to regulations; coordinate with relevant departments, agencies, and localities to conduct annual inspections of OCOP products and propose handling of products that do not meet the standards of the OCOP Program.

The People's Committees of communes and wards will continue to pay attention to and support OCOP entities in improving product quality; prioritize support for production linkages along the value chain, promotion, introduction and trade facilitation; and strengthen inspection and supervision of production and processing activities of OCOP entities in their areas.
Businesses, cooperatives, and households producing goods recognized under this Decision are responsible for maintaining and improving product quality in accordance with the regulations of the OCOP Program.
