According to the approved plan, the entire province has 480 households and individuals affected by the 2025 storms and floods who are eligible for resettlement through a mixed relocation model, mainly within the same commune; only 1 household will relocate outside the commune.

The resettlement program was implemented in 21 communes, concentrated in mountainous and border areas such as Nhon Mai, My Ly, Tuong Duong, Muong Quang, Yen Hoa, Huu Kiem, Chieu Luu, Tam Quang… Among them, many communes had a large number of relocated households such as My Ly (103 households), Nhon Mai (95 households), and Tuong Duong (44 households).

The total cost for implementing the plan is VND 143.4 billion, including VND 120 billion in direct support for households and VND 23.4 billion in infrastructure investment in areas receiving relocated residents (applicable to areas with 5 or more relocated households). The funding will be allocated from increased revenue and savings in the provincial budget for 2024 and the local budget for 2026.

The Provincial People's Committee assigns the Department of Agriculture and Environment to preside over the management and supervision of the implementation of the plan; the Department of Finance is responsible for advising on the allocation of funds according to regulations. The People's Committees of the relevant communes are responsible for organizing the implementation to ensure timeliness, targeting the correct beneficiaries, and complying with legal regulations.

The plan, to be implemented in 2026, aims to quickly stabilize the lives and production of people in areas affected by natural disasters.
