(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of February 22nd, hundreds of people gathered at the Provincial Preventive Health Center waiting to receive the "6-in-1" service vaccine for their children. Due to the sudden increase in the number of parents bringing their children for vaccination, many families had to take their children home after waiting too long.
At 10:00 AM this morning (February 22nd), hundreds of parents were waiting for their turn to get their children vaccinated. The consultation and service desks at the Provincial Preventive Medicine Center were crowded with people jostling to pay and buy vaccination booklets.

Ms. Nguyen Thi T, residing in Hung Nguyen district, said that although she had waited in line to get a number very early, her child still hadn't been vaccinated by nearly noon because the number of people bringing children for vaccination was too large. Ms. T said that many people from Tuong Duong and Con Cuong districts also brought their children here for vaccination, and even people from Ha Tinh province came here to get their children vaccinated.
Due to the large number of people bringing their children for vaccination and the long wait times, some parents took their children home to wait for the next round. However, some people with lower queue numbers patiently waited.

Dr. Nguyen Van Dinh, Director of the Provincial Preventive Medicine Center, said: "Recently, the number of parents requesting vaccination services for their children has increased significantly. On the morning of February 22nd alone, the number of children brought to the Provincial Preventive Medicine Center surged dramatically."
Explaining the situation, Mr. Dinh said that this time, the Provincial Preventive Medicine Center was allocated 130 doses of the "6-in-1" vaccine, while the number of children brought to be vaccinated was over 200, leading to overcrowding and congestion.
"Because it's a private vaccination service, anyone who needs it can register for vaccination, without any geographical restrictions. Therefore, people from various districts, even from Ha Tinh province, bring their children here for vaccination," Mr. Dinh added.
To address the situation, the Director of the Provincial Preventive Health Center stated: "We will administer the vaccinations in order for the children. For the remaining children, parents can register their name, age, and address. When the vaccines arrive, we will inform parents so they can bring their children for vaccination, avoiding the overcrowding and overload like this morning."
According to Mr. Nguyen Van Dinh, in addition to the Provincial Preventive Medicine Center, district, city, and town health centers, and some commune and ward health stations... also offer the "6-in-1" vaccine service.
