The planned area covers 210 hectares, including 180 hectares for oranges and 30 hectares for infrastructure construction. Of this, 186.7 hectares are concentrated on double-cropped rice land, and 2.6 hectares are in household gardens on land used for perennial crops.

Nghi Loc District will prioritize areas with favorable conditions in terms of soil, water resources, infrastructure, and investment attraction potential, focusing on hamlets 7, 8, and 9, the Vinh bypass area, and household gardens.

By 2020, the area of ​​land planted with Xa Doai oranges reached 126.5 hectares, of which 18.7 hectares were in production, yielding 243 tons. By 2025, the area of ​​orange cultivation will reach 180 hectares, of which 153 hectares will be in production, yielding 2,149 tons.

Cam Xã Đoài will utilize technology that uses herbal extracts to control fungal diseases, and will use PE bags and Chitosan film bags to ensure fruit quality and preserve the fruit after harvest at cold temperatures.

At the same time, attract investment to build fruit processing and preservation plants in the Southeast Economic Zone, applying ISO standards and other industry standards to create quality products.

The district will plan for three concentrated production zones, each with a scale of 15 hectares or more, with dikes to prevent flooding, reservoirs for irrigation, and investment in irrigation and transportation systems that meet standards.
