The planning area includes 210 hectares, of which 180 hectares are oranges and land for infrastructure construction (30 hectares). Of which, the area concentrated on rice land is 186.7 hectares; in household gardens on perennial crop land is 2.6 hectares.

Nghi Loc district will prioritize areas with favorable conditions in terms of soil, water resources, infrastructure, and investment attraction ability, concentrated in hamlets 7, 8, and 9, the Vinh bypass area, and household gardens.

By 2020, the area of ​​land for growing oranges in Xa Doai will reach 126.5 hectares, of which the commercial area will be 18.7 hectares, with an output of 243 tons. By 2025, the area for growing oranges will be 180 hectares, of which the commercial area will be 153 hectares, with an output of 2,149 tons.

Xa Doai oranges will be applied with technology using herbal extracts to prevent harmful fungi and diseases, using PE bags and Chitosan film bags to ensure fruit quality, preserving fruit after harvest at cold temperatures...

At the same time, attract investment in building fruit processing and preservation factories in the Southeast Economic Zone, applying ISO standards and industry standards to create quality products.

The district will plan 3 concentrated production areas with each area of ​​15 hectares or more, arrange dikes to prevent flooding, have irrigation reservoirs and invest in irrigation and traffic systems that meet standards.
