Nghe An issues telegram directing response to tropical depression
Faced with the possibility that the tropical depression could strengthen into a storm, at 4 p.m. today, June 10, Nghe An issued dispatch No. 02/CD-UBND, directing proactive response measures.
According to the bulletin of Nghe An Province Hydrometeorological Station, on the morning of June 10, 2025, the low pressure area in the North East Sea strengthened into a tropical depression. At 1:00 p.m. on June 10, the center of the tropical depression was at about 15.3 degrees North latitude; 114.8 degrees East longitude, about 360 km East Southeast of Hoang Sa archipelago.
The strongest wind near the center of the tropical depression is level 6-7, gusting to level 9. It is forecasted that in the next 24 hours, the tropical depression will move in the West Northwest direction at a speed of about 5-10 km/h, wind level 8, gusting to level 10 and is likely to strengthen into a storm.
