Nghe An: Launching a free legal advice point for workers and laborers

On the evening of January 17, the Nghe An Provincial Labor Federation announced the decision to establish and launch a "Free Legal Advice Point" for workers and laborers at Bac Vinh Industrial Park.
The free legal consultation point for workers and laborers is located at 340 Dang Thai Mai Street, Vinh City, with 16 members, including Mr. Nguyen Chi Cong - Vice President of the Provincial Labor Federation as the team leader.

The tasks of the consulting point include: Providing free consultation to workers on labor law, Social Insurance Law, Health Insurance Law, Employment Law, Labor Safety and Hygiene Law, Trade Union Law, Marriage and Family Law and other laws.
Regarding the form of operation, receiving feedback from employees 24/7 all days of the week through the suggestion box, via email:consultinglawandcouncil[email protected]and legal advice hotline with phone numbers 0919742006, 0912487666 and 0917536109.
The monthly legal consultation point with experts at 340 Dang Thai Mai Street, from February 2019 onwards, will be from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., on the 2nd and 4th Thursday evenings of every month.
According to Ms. Hoang Thi Thu Huong - Deputy Head of the Legal Policy Department of the Provincial Labor Federation, the free legal consultation point will help support workers with legal knowledge, thereby raising workers' awareness of law compliance.
When workers understand the provisions of the law, they will know how to act to protect their legitimate rights, businesses must also comply with the law and labor relations will be healthy.
It is known that in 2014, the Nghe An Trade Union Legal Consulting Center was launched and put into operation. Since then, the Center has consulted thousands of workers, contributing to the quick and effective resolution of many labor disputes.
