Nghe An: Launching a free legal advice center for workers and laborers.

On the evening of January 17th, the Nghe An Provincial Labor Union announced the establishment and launch of a "Free Legal Advice Center" for workers and employees in the Bac Vinh Industrial Park.

The free legal advice center for workers and laborers is located at 340 Dang Thai Mai Street, Vinh City, and consists of 16 members, with Mr. Nguyen Chi Cong - Vice Chairman of the Provincial Labor Union - as the team leader.

The counseling center's tasks include: Providing free advice to workers on labor law, social insurance law, health insurance law, employment law, occupational safety and health law, trade union law, marriage and family law, and other relevant laws.

In terms of operation, we receive feedback from employees 24/7 through suggestion boxes and email:legal advice[email protected]and a legal advice hotline with phone numbers 0919742006, 0912487666 and 0917536109.

The monthly legal consultation session with experts at 340 Dang Thai Mai Street, starting from February 2019, will be from 5 PM to 7 PM on the second and fourth Thursday evenings of each month.

According to Ms. Hoang Thi Thu Huong, Deputy Head of the Legal Policy Department of the Provincial Labor Union, the free legal counseling center will contribute to providing workers with legal knowledge, thereby raising their awareness of compliance with the law.

When workers are familiar with the law, they will know how to act to protect their legitimate rights, businesses will also have to comply with the law, and labor relations will be improved.

It is known that in 2014, the Nghe An Trade Union Legal Counseling Center was launched and began operations. Since then, the Center has provided legal advice to thousands of workers, contributing to the quick and effective resolution of many labor disputes.
