Nghe An launches digital data system for the Industry and Trade sector.
On the morning of April 23rd, Nghe An province held a ceremony to launch a digital data management and exploitation system to serve the operation and development of the Industry and Trade sector. The event was held both in-person and online, connecting to the People's Committees of communes throughout the province.
Attending the event were Comrade Vo Thi Minh Sinh – Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province; and representatives from various departments and agencies.
The digital data management and exploitation system for the Industry and Trade sector focuses on a GIS-based digital data platform with over 150 specialized data layers. Information on industrial clusters, markets, supermarkets, businesses, energy infrastructure, etc., is digitized, linked to geographical locations, and regularly updated.
Each entity is "digitally identified," with a complete record linking its scale, capacity, operational status, licenses, inspection history, etc. This creates a "living digital map" of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, enabling management agencies to monitor changes in real time and grasp the overall picture accurately and promptly.
The entire business process, from administrative procedures to inspections and audits, has been digitized and integrated with the Public Service Portal and the document management system. As a result, the process of handling applications is transparent, processing times are shortened, and the quality of service for citizens and businesses is improved.
Speaking at the ceremony, Ms. Vo Thi Minh Sinh, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairwoman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, assessed that putting the system into operation is a timely step, contributing to improving the efficiency of state management, enhancing transparency, and promoting the development of the province's digital economy. To ensure the system's effectiveness, she requested the Department of Industry and Trade to continue perfecting and standardizing data according to the criteria of "accurate - complete - clean - usable - shared". She also urged strengthening data connectivity and sharing, promoting communication and guidance on data exploitation, while ensuring information security and safety.
Departments, agencies, and localities are required to coordinate closely in providing, updating, and exploiting data, aiming to build a synchronized and interconnected digital data ecosystem throughout the province. The operation of the Industry and Trade sector's digital data system is expected to create an important foundation for modern management, improve operational efficiency, and contribute to promoting socio-economic development in Nghe An in the digital age.
At the ceremony, Ms. Vo Thi Minh Sinh, leader of the Department of Industry and Trade and related units, officially pressed the button to launch the Digital Database Management and Exploitation System for the Industry and Trade Sector of Nghe An province.
