In Nghe An province, nearly 2,200 vehicles are subject to inspection during a comprehensive review of dump trucks and semi-trailers weighing 15 tons or more, aimed at tightening management and ensuring traffic safety.

The Nghe An Provincial Police Department has just issued a plan to conduct a comprehensive inspection of dump trucks and semi-trailer trucks with a load capacity of 15,000 kg or more throughout the province. The inspection aims to tighten management, improve traffic safety, and help vehicle owners understand and comply with relevant regulations.

According to statistics, the entire province currently has 2,188 vehicles subject to inspection in this phase. The plan is being implemented according to Plan No. 1374/KH-C08-P4 dated March 24, 2026, of the Traffic Police Department (Ministry of Public Security), with completion before April 30, 2026.

Through this review, authorities will check and cross-reference information related to vehicles and owners, contributing to improved state management in the field of road transport.

For vehicle owners, it is necessary to proactively check and complete the procedures related to vehicle registration; in cases where ownership has been transferred but the name has not yet been changed, it should be done promptly according to regulations, ensuring that the vehicle is managed by the correct owner and user.

During the inspection process, aspects directly related to the vehicle will be checked, such as: whether the vehicle's cargo compartment dimensions comply with regulations and have not been modified or expanded; whether the license plate is installed correctly and is not obscured; and whether the commercial transport vehicle has switched to yellow license plates as required.

In addition, vehicle owners must ensure that their vehicles have not been modified with unauthorized horns or lights; are within their service life; and have installed all required vehicle tracking devices and driver image recording devices.

For vehicles already equipped with the device, stable operation and full data transmission must be maintained. In cases where the device is not installed or is not functioning, vehicle owners should proactively rectify or add the necessary components to meet current regulations.

The Nghe An Provincial Police recommend that organizations and individuals with vehicles subject to inspection actively cooperate and proactively check and complete the relevant conditions, thereby ensuring that the vehicles operate safely and in accordance with the law.
