After the storm, when the sea level receded, hundreds of fishermen in the coastal areas of Nghe An were busy pushing shrimp along the shore. With only rudimentary tools, each trip to the sea lasted 15-20 minutes, and they collected dozens of kilograms of fresh shrimp. Shrimp prices increased due to scarcity, bringing a significant source of income to fishermen after days off from sea to avoid the storm.
