Nghe An is ready for the Spring Press Festival of the Year of the Horse 2026.
On the morning of January 30, 2026, the Nghe An Journalists Association, in coordination with the Management Board of Ho Chi Minh Square and the Ho Chi Minh Monument, held a meeting to discuss the tasks in preparation for the Nghe An Province Spring Press Festival 2026.
Attending the meeting were: Ms. Ho Thi Ngan - Standing Vice President of the Nghe An Journalists Association; Mr. Nguyen Trung Thao, Member of the Executive Committee of the Provincial Journalists Association, Deputy Director of Nghe An Newspaper, Radio and Television; Ms. Nguyen Thi Lan Huong - Head of the Management Board of Ho Chi Minh Square and Ho Chi Minh Monument; along with members of the Organizing Committee and representatives of agencies and units participating in the exhibition at the Press Festival.
The Spring Press Festival of the Year of the Horse 2026 will be held on February 11, 2026 (the 24th day of the 12th lunar month) at Ho Chi Minh Square, jointly organized by the Nghe An Provincial Journalists Association and the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, with the participation of publications from Nghe An Newspaper and Radio and Television, Nghe An Publishing House, resident press agencies, and OCOP product display booths.
This year's Press Festival is organized in an innovative way, with an open space showcasing and introducing Spring editions of newspapers and magazines from central and local newspapers, introducing books published by Nghe An Publishing House, Nghe An Newspaper and Radio & Television introducing modern journalistic equipment, applying digital transformation in journalism, and a space for experiencing being an MC, creating opportunities for people, especially young people who love media, to directly participate in hosting programs, thereby learning about the production process of radio and television journalistic products and experiencing the working environment of journalists.
The Spring Press Festival also featured displays of OCOP products and specialty products of the province, introduced by the Nghe An Farmers' Association; the Beverage Economics Magazine displayed specialty products of Nghe An and Ha Tinh.
At the meeting, delegates listened to and commented on the proposed layout for the Spring Press Festival. Based on the presented demo, the discussions focused on refining specific items, ensuring a scientific and practical organizational space, creating a vibrant highlight, and contributing to the festive atmosphere of celebrating the Spring Festival, welcoming the Party, and celebrating the Year of the Horse 2026 in the province.
