Nghe An province is about to auction off 23 plots of land, totaling over 210,000 square meters.

The People's Committee of Nghe An province has just issued a plan to auction land use rights in 2026, for 23 land plots managed by the Provincial Land Fund Development Center, with a total area of ​​over 210,000 m².

According to Plan No. 254/KH-UBND issued on April 13, 2026, the auction aims to effectively utilize land resources, promptly put land into use, meet the needs of people and businesses, and simultaneously generate revenue for the budget, supplementing public investment capital and social welfare projects.

Of the 23 land plots slated for auction, 12 are carried over from 2025 with an area of ​​over 105,900m², and 11 are newly registered plots with an area of ​​approximately 104,700m². These land plots are expected to contribute to the completion of technical infrastructure, the development of urban and rural residential areas in a synchronized and modern manner, and the creation of land for production, business, trade, and service activities.

According to the plan, the Provincial Land Development Center will organize the auction in accordance with the correct procedures. Based on the submitted proposals, the Department of Agriculture and Environment will be responsible for appraising and advising the Provincial People's Committee to approve the auction plan, determine the starting price, and complete the procedures for land allocation, land lease, and issuance of land use right certificates to the winning bidders.

In addition, the Department of Construction conducts appraisals and advises on the approval of detailed planning or the approval of the overall site plan for auctioned land plots; and provides information on urban and rural planning and housing development programs as a basis for implementation.

The People's Committees of communes and wards are responsible for coordinating the announcement of the plan and list of land plots to be auctioned; conducting appraisal and approval of detailed planning according to their authority; managing land funds, supervising the auction process, and carrying out procedures for land allocation and leasing for successful bidders.

The synchronized implementation of the above contents is expected to improve the efficiency of land management and use, while also creating additional resources for the socio-economic development of the locality in the coming time.
