With the signingmemorandum of understandingThe two sides will cooperate and submit to the competent authorities a proposal for investing in a modern fruit processing plant in Nghe An, linked to the development of raw material areas, fruit procurement and processing, thereby increasing the added value and efficiency of agricultural production in general, and fruit production in particular, in Nghe An.
The Department of Agriculture and Rural Development of Nghe An province will provide information and introduce the potential, advantages, agricultural land area, and strengths of Nghe An; the current situation and development orientation of fruit trees in general, including pineapples and bananas; and the province's policies and mechanisms for attracting investment in agriculture and rural areas. It will also coordinate surveys, develop plans for raw material areas, direct production, and procure raw materials for processing plants.

We are committed to working closely with the company throughout the process of submitting the necessary procedures to the competent authorities for the investment plan to build the company's fruit processing plant in Nghe An province. This includes cooperation in surveying and developing raw material sourcing plans, directing production, and procuring raw materials for the processing plant.
Within 3-6 months from the date the memorandum is signed, Dong Giao Export Food Joint Stock Company will complete the procedures to submit to the competent authorities of Nghe An province for approval of the investment plan for a fruit processing plant with a capacity of 40,000-60,000 tons of fresh fruit per year. The company will invest in a modern processing plant, seriously implement the development of raw material areas, and sign contracts to guarantee the purchase of 100% of the products from local farmers. Currently, the company is surveying potential locations for the plant.

Speaking at the signing ceremony, Mr. Hoang Nghia Hieu stated that several businesses have already invested in developing fruit tree cultivation and fruit juice processing in Nghe An province, achieving promising initial results. This is also a sector where Nghe An has significant potential, both in terms of concentrated land area, favorable climate conditions, and the farming capabilities of its farmers. He urged all relevant parties to expedite the necessary procedures so that the factory can be built and operational as planned.
