Nghe An: The number of businesses per capita remains low.
(Baonghean.vn) - To date, the total number of businesses registered in Nghe An province has reached nearly 16,500. Businesses account for 60% of the province's total budget revenue.
Businesses in Nghe An province are developing in multiple sectors, with the largest proportion being trade and services at 32.19%, construction (including consulting) at 24%, mining and mineral processing at 12.64%, agricultural and forestry production and processing at 5.4%, and seafood production and processing at 0.26%.
The business sector accounts for 60% of the province's total budget revenue.

In the first seven months of 2017, business registration certificates were issued to 972 enterprises, an increase of 9.83% compared to the same period last year; with a total registered capital of VND 5,348.98 billion, an increase of 48% compared to the same period in 2016. The average registered capital per enterprise reached VND 5.4 billion, an increase of 31.7% compared to the same period; 285 enterprises resumed operations after a period of temporary suspension.

The rate of online business registration applications in the first 7 months reached 61.8%, higher than the target set by the Government Resolution (10%).
Nghe An province has a relatively high rate of business growth; however, the average number of businesses per capita in the province is currently low compared to the national average.
