(Baonghean.vn) - While playing on the street in Muong Xen town, Ky Son district, Ha Manh Hung (born in 2015) was suddenly abducted by a strange woman. The stranger was immediately surrounded and apprehended by local residents and handed over to the authorities.

The suspect is being held at the People's Committee office of Muong Xen town.

Lieutenant Colonel To Van Hau, Head of the Ky Son District Police (Nghe An province), said that on the morning of January 6th, the unit received a report from residents about the attempted arrest of a woman believed to be involved in a child abduction.

According to the report, at around 10:30 AM on January 6th, while playing outside, Ha Manh Hung was abducted by an unknown woman who then ran away. Terrified, Hung cried loudly, prompting some local residents to chase after her. Shortly afterward, the woman was apprehended by the residents and handed over to the authorities.

Many people came to see the face of the person suspected of kidnapping children.

Upon receiving the report, the Ky Son District Police and the Muong Xen Town Police immediately arrived at the scene to investigate the incident.

Currently, the suspect is being detained at the Mường Xén town People's Committee headquarters. Initial information from the Kỳ Sơn District Police indicates that the unidentified woman is named TTTT (born in 1989) and is from Bà Rịa - Vũng Tàu province.

For now, the motive of Ms. T is unclear. However, according to the Kỳ Sơn District Police investigation team, this may be a child abduction case.

A large number of people gathered at the Mường Xén town People's Committee headquarters to express their outrage over the actions of the individual in question.
