Nghe An: Detained a strange woman suspected of kidnapping children

(Baonghean.vn) - While playing on the street in Muong Xen town, Ky Son district, Ha Manh Hung (born 2015) was suddenly picked up and carried away by a strange woman. Immediately after that, the stranger was surrounded by people, arrested and handed over to the authorities for handling.

The suspect was detained at the People's Committee of Muong Xen town.

Lieutenant Colonel To Van Hau - Head of Ky Son District Police (Nghe An) said that on the morning of January 6, the unit received a report from the people that they had arrested a woman who was said to have failed to kidnap a child.

Accordingly, at around 10:30 a.m. on January 6, Ha Manh Hung was playing on the street when a strange woman picked him up and ran away. Too scared, Hung cried loudly and some local people shouted to each other to chase him. Only a moment later, the strange woman was surrounded by people and handed over to the authorities.

Many people came to see the face of the suspected child kidnapper.

Upon receiving the news, Ky Son District Police and Muong Xen Town Police immediately arrived at the scene to investigate the incident.

Currently, the subject is being detained at the headquarters of the People's Committee of Muong Xen town. Initial information from the Ky Son District Police said that the strange woman named TTTT (born in 1989) is from Ba Ria - Vung Tau province.

At present, Ms. T’s motive is unknown. However, according to the investigation force of Ky Son District Police, this could be a case of child kidnapping.

Many people went to the headquarters of the People's Committee of Muong Xen town and expressed their dissatisfaction with the actions of the above subject.
