Nghe An attends conference of 9 provinces of 3 countries

(Baonghean.vn) - On March 8, a high-ranking delegation of Nghe An province led by Mr. Le Ngoc Hoa - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee attended the 20th Summit of 9 provinces of Vietnam - Laos - Thailand using Highway 8 and Highway 12 in Bung Can province, Kingdom of Thailand.

Opening the Conference - Mr. Pisut Butsayapanpong - Governor of Bung Can Province expressed his honor to welcome the provinces of 3 countries Vietnam - Laos - Thailand using Highway 8 and Highway 12 to visit Bung Can and thanked the member provinces for their attention and support, contributing to the success of the Conference. Mr. Pisut Butsayapanpong also reported on the cooperation results of 9 provinces of 3 countries in the past time and the plan for the coming time.

Comrade Le Ngoc Hoa - Vice Chairman of Nghe An Provincial People's Committee reported on the implementation of the Minutes of the 19th APOTC Summit in Khammouane Province, Laos from December 21, 2015 to present and made some recommendations and proposals. In particular, the fields of education, training, culture, sports, tourism, economy, trade and investment, and transportation between Nghe An and the provinces of Laos and Thailand have achieved remarkable results.

To effectively implement cooperation in the coming time, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Ngoc Hoa suggested that the provinces in the APOTC Association have policies to support and encourage businesses and traders to do business at border gates sharing the same border; discuss coordination mechanisms between provinces in exchanging skilled labor resources with qualifications suitable for the labor market of the ASEAN community.

Nghe An province hopes to attract investors from Laos and Thailand to the Southeast Economic Zone, industrial parks and industrial clusters, especially the Hemaraj Industrial Park in Thailand.

In the near future, Nghe An is honored to be the host of the 21st APOTC Preparatory Conference. Comrade Le Ngoc Hoa respectfully invites and is honored to welcome other provinces to the homeland of President Ho Chi Minh, an outstanding celebrity of the era, beloved leader of the Vietnamese people.
